Wound care is an important but potentially challenging part of plastic surgery practice that incorporates surgical and nonsurgical management components. This session will address the use of topical agents, dressing management and systemic treatments including hyperbaric oxygen treatment as part of wound management.

At the end of this activity participants will be able to:

  1. Learn about topical agents in wound care and their indications.
  2. Become familiar with the evidence supporting hyperbaric oxygen treatment and indications for referral.
