Devils in the Details: Breast Pearls from the Experts Fri, Sep 27 2:00-3:30 p.m. PDT

This session will feature several presentations focused on surgical and patient management pearls that will transform your practice. Talks will cover procedures for addressing implant ruptures including cohesive modern ruptures, the use of tranexamic acid (TXA) as an effective agent to reduce bleeding and minimize post-operative bruising and considerations in the management of the axillary breast. At the end of this activity participants will be able to: 1. Define at least two benefits of using TXA. 2. Understand the types of ruptures in cohesive gel implants. 3. Identify approaches to the management of implant ruptures.

Accreditation: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons® (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
