Ultrasound has become essential for many applications in hand surgery. Ultrasound can be useful in diagnosis of carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome. Ultrasound can also be used in therapeutic indications for injections and minimally invasive surgical approaches for carpal tunnel release and trigger finger release. This live course will involve hands on demonstrations and learning for basic and advanced applications of ultrasound in hand surgery.
At the end of this activity participants will be able to:
- Understand indications for diagnostic ultrasound in hand surgery.
- Appreciate indications for therapeutic ultrasound in hand surgery.
- Apply ultrasound for applications in hand surgery in clinical practice.
