Panelists will present a holistic approach to breast reconstruction recovery. This session aims to explore how pre-habilitation strategies, tailored nutrition, psychological support, and self-care can collectively enhance patient outcomes. Expert panelists will discuss the importance of preparing patients physically and mentally before surgery, the impact of specialized diets on healing and the immune response, and the value of psychological support in recovery. Additionally, innovative therapies such as physical and music therapy will be examined for their roles in improving postoperative mobility and patient well-being. This integrative panel seeks to provide attendees with actionable strategies to support their patients' journey to recovery, emphasizing the synergy between body and mind in the healing process.

Upon completion of this learning activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Understand how holistic strategies may be employed to improve patient outcomes.
